Empowering Therapy

Adults

Families

Children

We believe in human potential — that all people have the capacity to learn, grow and develop.

Our Approach

Relational Therapy

We believe that people’s connection to others matters. We know that the therapeutic relationship can serve as a powerful force toward exploration and resolution.

Strengths-Based Therapy

We focus on the abilities and capacities of people — what they are already doing well and how to lean into those assets in the face of challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

We support clients to gain insight into their thinking and behavioral patterns. We help them shift their unhelpful thinking, feeling and behavior to be more effective.

Narrative Therapy

We know that we all construct stories about who we are, what has happened to us and we work with clients to make those as positive and constructive as possible.

Our Modalities

Internal Family Systems

We work with clients to explore the different “parts” or their “inner world” in order to better understand themselves and their motivations.

Motivational Interviewing

We meet people where they are. We support clients in balancing competing thoughts, intentions and actions to move towards what they truly desire.

Amelia has a Master’s in Art Therapy and Creativity Development, and loves to offer creative approaches when they feel right to you. Amelia says, “ I’m always motivated to help clients slow down and connect with the world around them to find sources of inspiration and insight.”

Amelia also draws on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, motivational, and relational models. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults who are navigating life changes, or experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar, psychosis, and substance use issues.

Tony is dedicated to helping adults, teens, and couples move past distress and achieve lasting, self-led change. He believes people already hold the answers and the capacity for healing. His role as a therapist is to help folks uncover the innate strengths and resources that may be currently difficult to access because of overwhelming emotions or life's struggles.

Tony’s approach is integrative and grounded, blending modalities that focus on both deep emotional insight and practical coping skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that provides empowering understanding of thought and behavior patterns, along with Internal Family Systems (IFS) to foster emotional awareness and profound self-discovery by exploring the "parts" of client’s inner world.

This includes his work with couples integrating Gottman based approach to help partners define and build their shared vision for a healthy, vibrant relationship and learn to communicate safely from a place of vulnerability, strengthen their ability to repair conflict, and foster deeper, more sustainable connection.
